The Death of Statemanship

The impeachment bullshit is over. The Iowa caucus was a complete disaster. The Democrats are pissed and Trump will likely be re-elected to the disdain of millions.

And none of it will matter.......

I've said it before and I will continue to say it until one of these idiots proves me wrong; there's not a nickel's difference between any of them. Remove the big issue topics and get down to brass tacks and it's only about money.
There are few, if any, true Statesmen in our elected federal bodies. What we have are career politicians and bureaucrats who continue to further divide this country for the sake of votes and maintaining power.

Big-government liberals don't like people with a sense of independence because independent people don't need big government."

-- Neal Boortz

Ask yourself this; "Who is representing me in Congress and the House of Representatives?" Do they truly have your interested in mind or do they occasionally toss you a scrap to keep you satisfied through the next election and move on to things they truly care about? The vast majority of these people, especially Congressmen are there for the long haul. As in 20, 30, and 40 years of "service". I do not believe that the framers of the Constitution had that in mind for our country. We NEED, desperately to get back to elected officials who genuinely care about their constituents and not simply pay lip service as they're in front of the cameras. It truly makes me sick to my stomach to watch.
So I encourage you to vote and vote with some knowledge. Educate yourself on the incumbent and those who oppose that person in the upcoming election.
The median net worth for a member of Congress surpassed $1 million in 2013, where it remained through 2018. This compares to the average American household median net worth of less than $60,000. As reported by the Center for Responsive Politics, "it would take the combined wealth of more than 18 American households to equal the value of a single federal lawmaker's household." Entering 2019, less than 10% of U.S. households could be classified as millionaires, compared to more than 50% of the members of Congress.
Anyone else see a massive problem with this????
It's bullshit!! How can you say you represent ME and my community when you're a millionaire and getting richer by the year?
Rant complete.....
