Friends

Friends....

It's a word that is often misused and abused by humans. In truth, most of the people that we come into contact with are not friends, but rather, acquaintances. Therein lies the difference; an acquaintance knows of you, a friend knows you.
Friends may be far or near to your present location, but distance doesn't matter in this particular relationship. You may only speak directly to you friend once a month; that too doesn't really matter. What truly matter is the bond you developed when you became friends.
I have friends that reside in different states that I may speak with once every six months, but I know, without a doubt, that if I were in need of something that my friend would be there for me. I have never questioned this.

Friendships are developed in a multitude of arenas; work, places of worship, bars, during recreational activities. But every now and again there will be a person, or a group of people who will walk into your life and forge a bond of friendship that takes you completely by surprise.
I have recently had such an experience with my co-workers at Massage Envy Spa located on Northshore Drive. I truly feel as if these folks have become a part of my extended family. Being a part of the Team that hired and trained them gives me an amazing sense of joy to watch them continue to accomplish their goals and set new standards of excellence.

Friends should be selected very carefully and held onto even more carefully. When you find a person with whom you are compatible, who will stand by you when you have nothing to offer them other than your time and friendship in return; hang on to that person. They are invaluable and will prove to be a source of strength and encouragement in your life as you go forward.

Choose your friends carefully......
